Re: Bare escentials makeup-
I'm thinking of ordering as well...but I'm so afraid to change because my skin is so bad and I am so skeptical.

Re: Bare escentials makeup-
It's actually good for your skin...they say that the make-up is so good, you could fall asleep with it on and you won't break out. I've done that ~ it's true.
It's very light and it feels like you're not wearing anything. If you're skeptical, look on e-bay, they have small trial size kits that you can buy to test it out. I would buy the starter kit that they sell in Ulta or on QVC. It comes with the brushes and they are absolutely wonderful for applying make-up.
I use the Medium foundation and Bisque to cover up my pregnancy marks on my face. Then a little Warmth for some color.

Re: Bare escentials makeup-
Is it cheaper to buy it through QVC? I used to live in SF and they had stores in the malls. I just saw one in Roosevelt Field last weekend, but didn't get a chance to go in.

Re: Bare essentials makeup-
Sephora has starter kits which is probably easier to order online since they can't keep them in stock too long per DH when he bought it for me last year. And there's a Bare Essentials store at Roosevelt Field. I don't wear make up frequently but when I do it's great...very light and natural feeling.

I LOVE it! I buy it at Ulta. I use the medium foundation, the warmth for color and I have some eye shadows.

Re: Bare essentials makeup-
I love it but I cannot wear it in the summer b/c when I sweat it makes my face itch REALLY BAD.. otherwise, for winter and non-sweating months I think it's great.

I am a non-foundation wearing person but I love bare escentuals!!! The concealer actually works on covering up a sun spot that I have. And I LOVE the eyeshadows!!!!

Re: Bare essentials makeup-
I have "raccoon-like" circles under my eyes from pregnancy and it covers them up pretty good....so black circles should be covered pretty good as well.

FYI not all the Sephora stores sell the BE makeup....the one in the Americana does not carryit, but I have seen it in the Roosevelt field mall at that Sephora.

Re: Bare essentials makeup-
I dont like and NEVER wear except for my wedding day the liquid stuff- I just use powder, can you just wear their powder or is it too light and you need both?

the powder covers like a foundation. You only need to use the powder.

I bought it at the store in Roosevelt Field. I LOVE it and have had so many compliments!
I saw an infomercial the other night. You can get an introductory kit for an awesome price (the Kabuki brush alone is usually $28). You might want to check it out. Bare Escentuals 800-618-4569 www.trybareminerals.com

I use the foundation and really like it, it looks natural and I spend less time getting ready in the morning, just buff it on you are ready to go!
