To all the wonderful teachers here..
I just want to say a big THANK YOU for all the hard work and dedication you put in for our children! With out you none of us would have gotten an education!It really takes a very special type person to take on such a monumental job.

I have to say - I went "back to school" shopping for myself today. The poor kids were literally being dragged through the mall by their parents, and I'm crazy-excited to go back!

Thank you. That means a lot. I love what I do. It's nice to know that others appreciate the hard work that teachers bring to their jobs. Comments like yours makes me love my job even more.

Thank you so much for your kind words. Teaching is such a rewarding job....the money may stink (especially in the daycare field...I'm a PreSchool teacher in a daycare) but the job is truely a rewarding one. We definitely do shape these childrens futures, whether we know it or not.

You're all wonderful people! I always say teachers have one of the hardest and most important jobs and unfortunately are seriously under paid and not recognized enough for what you all do.

Thank you very much for this lovely post! It means more than you will ever know.
I love my job so much. It helps shape and define who I am. I love my kids so much today I have had 1401 (including my own daughter) children. I love them all to pieces. I miss them when I am not at work. It is definitely a passion. It stinks to always have to defend my passion that's why I appreciate your post so much.
