Thanks everyone! We love our house, we just finished redoing it about 4 months ago, we weren't planning on selling it but as you can see from my other post, my Aunt's house is for sale and we're going to buy it (it's SO outdated and we have a lot of work to do, sometimes I think we're crazy to move!)
We aren't listing it with an agent right now, we would like to try to sell it ourselves first.
It's right on the Northport/E. Northport border (mailing address is E. Npt), which is the north sore of LI in western suffolk.
For anyone ommuting to NYC, I take the train every day (its less than 5 mins drive from the house) and I'm on the 7:34am train which is pretty express. Coming home Im on the 5:47 and home by 7pm. Really not bad at all.

Kathy your house id beautiful...you just gave me so many decorating ideas. Can you tell me what color paint you have in your living room when you come up the stairs...it looks like a creamy color. I love it!

I thought this too...you guys have done so much, from the little details to the yard, its so beautiful and I so wish I had the money for it!! LOL
You have no worries, its gonna go fast and I think your right to do it privately first because I think you have an awesome chance of it going so fast, why pay a realtor!
