We're Homeowners! (Now with pics...and more added on pg.2)
I haven't uttered a word about this on here or even to most of our friends in fear of jinxing ourselves but yesterday we closed on our first home! We're SO excited!! We did our walk-through on Thursday night and I had almost forgotten how much I loved the house since I hadn't seen it since Thanksgiving time. It's literally in move-in condition, all we're doing is painting the living room since I don't like the color, we'll do the baby's room in a couple of months when we're ready. We get the keys tomorrow morning....can't wait!
I don't have pics here at work, but tonight when I go home I'll post a few.

You have a good memory Shana. NO, it's not. When my grandfather got sick and needed medicaid we found that he would have been majorly penalized for selling, don't even get me started on the healthcare system  When we found out I was PG we knew we had to buy soon. Ironically, my grandfather passed last week and never did get medicaid since the application process is so damn long!!
Anyway, we love the house we bought, it's in Coram (middle country schools). We got the keys this morning. Here are some pics (with the sellers furniture and decorations)

One of collegues lives Coram, but in the same area where the SD is Middle Country.
