OMG I love freshly grated locatelli. I usually have to grate 2x as much as I need because I eat so much. I can also eat it sliced.

I personally can't eat it. But, my parents are all about buying blocks of it and eating it with red wine...especially my dad!

We buy it by the block and DH and I both cut slices off and eat them plain.

Grated requires a block all to myself. I make a snow scene with cheese!

I buy the block of Locatelli Romano and shave a few pieces into my salads, but straight up, don't know if I could do that. It's way too sharp. However, my mom does eat pieces off of the block of it.

Not necessarily the whole jar of grated cheese, but I will eat pinches or even a small spoonful at a time. MMMM...cheese!

This might count as the same Mel....and you HAVE try it.

The parmesan& romano cheese is put on a pan, fried and made into a little flat cheese patty. YUMMY!
We learned of this at Cozymels who used to add those to their Ceasar salads. They stopped it and its still a request when we go there. So bad for you but yet so yummy!
