Fun things to do on Long Island
Anyone have any suggestions? I just got back from Florida and I am so tired of Long Island. I feel so trapped here in terms of going out. i mean what is there really to do? Go to the movies, bowling, restaurants/bars. florida was so much fun. I told DH i would love to move ,but our families are both here. Does anyone do anything different on weekends or is it pretty much the same? I am sure if I lived there i would eventually feel the same rut.

hmm do you like to go to the city what about seeing a show?I knwo you cant do thata ll the time but to change things up

I try to go to a beach or park with the dog on the weekends....you meet people and it's something different to do.

we went to city walk at nite, to pleasure island another nite, down to ft lauderdale, to church street station, epcot, mgm, mini golf,shopping at outdoor malls...it was alot of fun!
