Very Funny!

We stopped at McDonalds on the way to the reception Hall and took a pic with Ronald sitting in the lobby, since DH and I met there.

I actually thought that was funny. Hey, they did what they could afford. Better than putting yourself into hock to get married (and I have friends who did that).

Re: Looking for a hall?

I dont know what to say. I'd rather get married at Town Hall and go to dinner just me and DH - than this.

I say good for them, it shows that weddings don't always have to be about how much the cost per plate is. Chat Icon

I know? Ok, everyone is entitled to their own opinions..and that's cool. But not everyone can afford to get married in lavish places. Hello they just bought a house. Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Re: Looking for a hall?

I think this is great! Just think of how much money they saved! Its also great PR for that McDonalds... they housed them for free.

How many women are on this site that spent a fortune on a wedding and still don't have a house yet?

This couple bought their house in Suffolk already so they are set.

Some people prioritize differently than others.
