Re: cars....

FH just got the new Jetta in June. We absolutely LOVE it. It's cute, but spacious, it has a lot of great features (we got the package 1 which has a 6 disc changer stereo and a moonroof)...it's just a really fun, pretty, comfortable car to drive. We took it on a long trip (to DC) and it was just so much fun, and we've had no problems...great gas mileage...great features (it has an amazing indash status display).. pricey for its class, but worth it and under $25K. I think you just need to find the car you feel happy in. We did a lot of looking..and with the Jetta (it' primarily FH's car...I have a bhug), the second FH's butt touched the seat he said "WOW" with other cars we were like "eh..it's ok"..or "this is nice" but the jetta gave us a "wow" feeling, and it really makes a difference when you're sitting in traffic..or on a long trip..your comfort level, etc. Good Luck

I have a Jeep Liberty and I LOVE it!! I've never owned anything other than a car before and I will never go back. I find that it handles really well in the snow too and it's not too big for me.

I just got a brand new mitsubishi galant and I absolutely love it. I am not sure if you are looking for a SUV or car but in terms of cars its gorgeous. I think it totals to about 22k...not bad. Its so roomy inside. seats 5 adults comfortably and probably 6 if there are kids. The body reminds me of the caddy for some reason. its just very pretty looking. Mines white.

Re: cars....

I have a Sebring Convertible that I am in love with. I've always wanted a convertible from the time I could drive and I finally have one.

It's 6 years old now, but *knock wood* I've never had a major problem with it besides regular maintenance.

I have the Volkswagen Passat. I love it because it is such an easy ride, and has great pick up. Also, the reason I got it is because it will be a family car. It is a very safe, heavy car that has 8 airbags. Safety was the main reason I got the car.

We did a smartbuy or driver's option..it's like a lease to buy thing...The payments are in the low-mid 300's. It's less for a lease, more for a finance...oh and we only put down $1500..so if we had put down more, it would have been better. Plus when we bought it, the car ahd JUST come out, so there were no "deals"..now there might be better ones

Re: cars....

I have an '05 chevy equinox and I think it is the best little SUV. I previously had a hyundai accent and a hyundai elantra and decided to go in to a small SUV. I have had i over a year now and it is really roomy and runs great.

I have a 2006 Honda Accord. Cost me $21,000. I love it because it's great on gas, it's a 4 cylynder but feels like a 6, and it's dependable and cute.

I have a 2005 Honda Pilot and I LOVE IT!!!! It handles beautifully and is a very safe, well rated car. Plus no bad weather can stop me. The one I have is over 25K, but I believe you can get a less equipped model for close to that.

I have a Hyundai Santa Fe and I love it! I paid 19,800 for it in 2003 and I think it was well worth it. Comfy, easy to drive, not too bad on gas and I get to drive on the beach!
Oh, yeah it's got 70,000 miles on it (all from me) and it's still running like brand new!

MY DH and I share two cars. We have a 2005 Honda Accord which I don't love because I prefer German cars and have been experiencing some problems with it but I do love my other car, 2000 BMW 5 series...it drives great and I feel safe in it.

I also had a Volkswagon Beattle and it was the BEST car!...Definitely my favorite!! My DH didn't like the fact that he would have to drive it so he pretty much made me get rid of it when the lease was up Chat Icon
