Best of luck! I had a similar situation during my pregnancy with bleeding. I went to Er and the PA did an U/S and couldn't find a baby when just the week prior I had seen my baby and it's heartbeat. Luckily it was because the PA was a dumbass and had it on abdomen and not OB settings once they figured that out they found the baby and the heartbeat and told me the bleeding was a threatened abortion (what a horrible title!)and to go on stict bedrest and no sex.
I ended up losing my job over being put on bedrest but 30 weeks later I was holding my son and we ended up being able to have sex again during my 2nd trimester.
