Gynos see people with their periods all the time. Seriously, they will not care. If it might be a cyst or a tumor catching it 5 days earlier might make a difference.

I would not put it off till next week or the week after..the earlier its treated, the better...please do not put this off...its your health...and if its sizeable like your mom said, its your best intereste to get the answers and treatement you need asap. Do not let your body suffer!

the tech guy is not going to be there i dont have a sonogram they cant doing nothing tomorrow anyway i was just going to get a internal checkup thats all my gyno wont do anything if i have my period i dont want to put it off but they cant do anything my mom is going to call tomorrow i am working so i cant call them.

Ro, I really think you should be making your appointments yourself. To me when you become a grown up it is just something you do. I know it may be nerve wracking, but the call is not the hard part. And if your gyno is really so unprofessional as to refuse to see patients if they have their period I would switch gynos. It is completely unprofessional to tell someone who may have a cyst or a tumor to wait a week or two. These things may grow quickly Ro, and as nervous as you are putting this off longer could be dangerous. Even if it is an internal exam the doctor can feel growth.

No I dont let mommy make my decisions i just sometimes need her because i am scared and i just cant handle it if it was cancerous or a tumor i know i should not thinkof the worse but i now know the cyst if it is a cyst is 31/2 cm almost 4 and i am going back in two weeks.

thanks beth for caring i am amking sure everything is going to be good with me i have to go back on june 13th for a ultrasound at the gyno lets pray that its not as bad.thanks again.
