 Although we aren't 100% sure our DS had coxsackie (since he had that extra horrible rash that could have been a allergic reaction to other foods/medicine... still aren't sure) our dr. did tell us when he thought it was coxsackie to give him tylenol every 4 hours, and to try to get fluids into him, even if we needed to "syringe" it in. Hope that helps a bit.

I am so sorry you are having a tough time, it's a TERRIBLE virus and I hope she feels better soon and your DH stops acting like a dink (I hate when they just don't get it sometimes)

I just got her to take about 2 1/2 oz of formula. I also gave her more Tylenol. She is still crying wet tears and having wet diapers. Only a few more hours and we'll go to the dr. We'll call our ped at 8am when they open. I dont know how we'll get through tonight but I hope she sleeps a little so we can sleep a little. This is just so horrible!!!

hang in there and make sure you are sleeping when she is sleeping! good job on the 2.5 oz. that is a really big deal right now! you should be proud because i know how hard it is!!

When Alex had cosackie the only thing that helped was to hold her through the night... it made for bad habits a few days later, but it helped calm her down... I know how horrible it is - hang in there!
