Months after gutting the room, replacing the window and front door, adding crown and base moulding, refacing the fireplace and hearth and building a mantle...our LR is almost complete!! Need wall art, accents, cocktail table and the remaining pieces for our tile rug.
I have to show the before (with previous owner's furnishings)...

A work in progress....this was Christmas
Carpet will be ripped up and we have refinish hardwood floors underneath, need to re do sheet rock and paint and need new window treatments

Thank you...yes, there are 3 in there. I have a slight obsession with mid-century modern chairs 
Skew...I need color in there! LOL I plan on adding it with accent pillows and wall art...but I'm having the hardest time finding what I see in my head. I want orange...and I want round pillows - that is practically impossible - so I'll settle for rectangle or even square. I'm at a loss for the walls. WIP...

I have the exact same moulding in my DR but I had to pay someone to do it. LOL so u guys are lucky!

Thank you...I should have added that what's in my head is a round, tufted pillow. I found a couple for $$$ but I didn't love them anyway.
I think I might have to do what Tine suggested - have some made.

I love Mid Century Modern, but I can't really swing it in my house ...well more like with my budet right now 
You may enjoy this book it is basically a history of chair design - i can spend hours looking at that one and this on

hehe, I have the 2nd book...and 2 others I can't think of off the top of my head. We got a book that came with the Eames Lounge since we purchased it during the 50yr anniversary year. Very neat, purdy pictures.
