Yep...and that's exactly what I said. I told him that if someone did that to you...you would be pi$$ed. His response...I wouldn't get water on someone else's property Chat Icon Chat Icon

He better think twice about jumping onto somebody else's property.

Somebody I know that lives out of state has a very strict policy about things like this. He has a nicely stacked gun and rifle rack in his house... and has no issues with shooting somebody that came onto his property or into his home because he feels he would be acting in "self defense" in protecting his family.

He also said he would make sure "they don't live to testify against him in court".

That is legal in Texas but not here!

He'd have to be inside the house in NY

Hey... I am not saying i agree with it... nor would I do it myself.

I am just saying there are people out there that are nutsy enough to think like that (and would act on it).

Be careful.

I agree with you (omg ...did I just say that???) :faints:
You should always be careful....
seriously, people are nuts. I saw my neighbor whack his other neighbor upside the head with a 2 x 4 b/c he cut a branch off of his tree (which he had the right to cut considering it was on his side of the property & scratching on his BR window).
In NY to be able to claim self defense, the *intruder* has to be physically in your house, not just on your property. Just informing - no flaming hereChat Icon
