Don't forget your boppy pillow if you plan on BF.
I did not use half of what I brought. I used the hospital disposible underwear with a pad across my incision. My underwear were too low in my incision for comfort.
I ended up only wearing the hospital gowns. Much easier, especially after a c-section (no lifting of legs up to put on bottom PJ or pants).
I used
- my robe to walk around.
- Slippers
- flip flop for shower
- my own soap and shampoo
- moisterizer

Don't know if this was posted but bring your own pads! They handed me this thing in the hospital & i had no idea WHAT it was!LOL. I was much more comfortable in an Always thin maxi than that scratchy wierd thing they gave me.

This thread is awesome - very helpful. The only thing that I would add based on a nurse's recommendation during my hospital tour is a page from your baby book so they can stamp your baby's footprint onto (the nurse said they like doing that for moms).

And alos bring your camera battery charger too - our battery died pretty quickly after all the pictures we took of the baby!

just a word of advice from luvnlife who just had her  wednesday....she didn't end up using hardly any of the stuff she packed! She used nothing in the "labor bag" and then really only used the boppy and her nursery cover up from the other bag! She definitely would have brought her own pillow and towel though. OH, and if you're a tea drinker ...you might want to bring some of your own tea bags because Good Sam's tea is terrible
