Request for Ron
can we pretty please get a "Run on Sentence Checker" for the board. Ya know, kinda like a spell checker, but it inserts periods after every sentence.
I can't. Some of the posts I read give me a seizure.

I should forward you an email from my DH. I yell at him for this all the time!
I try to tell him - his point gets lost when he doesn't use proper puncuation!
it's very hard to read

I do have to agree. I find myself re-reading not only posts, but emails as well. I wonder if people would use it though. Im guilty of not using spell check at all. I type and 'submit" and thats pretty much it.

I don't think anyone here is out to be the grammar police, but some posts are so screwed up the point is lost. It can be a little frustrating to sort it all out.

I just peed myself and spit my drink out at the same time
I have said it before. I need anti sezuire meds after some posts.
I DONT puncuate or even spell well..screw the spell check.
But I TRY to insert periods after some thoughts to show people I am MOVING on to a new sentance....

exactly. it's not a matter of policing, but just trying to read a response..
for example
if your trying to read this but cant because there is no punctuation and its just a run on sentence with no end in sight and no comma to pause between words how do you then deciper what the poster is trying to convey especially when theres no question mark where there should be no comma where there should be no period to end the sentence get my drift see what i mean
?
it's quite annoying. period.

sometimes i don't realize that i do it. there i times that i type fast and realize the sentence was too long. its a chat forum. but i would never do it in an e-mail at work
