It gets soooo much easier.
Definately run out and get this book- I read to quit before I started trying to get pregnant. Its amazing- the mood swings, cravings, gone- I think it brain washes you..
The Easy Way to Stop Smoking by Alan Carr.
BEST BOOK EVER!!!!!

Congrats!!!!!! It is SO TOUGH but it will get better. ( promise)
YOu will still feel like crap for a while, but it will pass eventually. ( I quit almost a year ago and relapsed a few times, eventually that even passes too.
Lollipops will help ---

It gets easier I promise!!!!! I quit 2 1/2 years ago, cold turkey and the first 2 weeks were the hardest. Try to find an outlet I walked a lot and drank what seemed like gallons of water.
DH knew he had to steer clear sometimes too.
It is so worth it. Stay strong, you can do it!

Thank you sooo much!!
I'm on day 7... the 1st couple of days weren't too bad because i slept alot... but now... i'm jumping out of my skin. I'm hoping the next few days go a little smoother 
Christine- I'm definitely going to pick up that book!!! I quit cold turkey.. haven't even had one drag.... none at all.. AND i went outdrinking saturday night too.... BUT, i need all the help i can get!! Thank you for the reccomendation!!

chew sugar free gum.
chew on a straw.
sometimes when i wanted a cigarette, i would make believe i was actually smoking one. i would actually inhale and then count to 3 or 4 and then exhale, it kind of made me feel like i was smoking a cigarette!

quitting smoking is not easy. It’s exhausting at times, and there are mood swings and minds games, and it is all part of the process of becoming someone who is not a slave to cigarettes. Quitting smoking is not easy, but is it easier that living with or dying from a smoking-related illness. It can be tiring, but not as tiring as chemotherapy and radiation treatments. It takes some effort, but not as much effort as it takes some to try to take their next breath. You can do it!!!!!!!!!!

Good for you! We can support each other with this. Friday will be one month since I quit and it does get easier after the first 2 weeks. All the nicotene is out of your system now (takes 3 days) so now it's the psychological battle.
Stay strong and drink a ton of water. If you need support, I'm only an fm away
