I don't think so. We're not supposed to have any processed meats (ie cold cuts, hot dogs, etc). I assume sauages fall in the same category, and if they don't I'm going to be  because I've been avoiding them like that are!

I think that if the sausage is cooked all the way and kills any bacteria that may be there, its OK to eat.
I've eaten it throughout my pregnancy. I just made sauce with hot italian sausage the other night...trying to get the baby to come out ...didnt work! LOL
I also ate Sausage McMuffins from Mc Donalds every Saturday for about a month straight.

I ate sausage, and deli meats and hot dogs, just make sure it is in moderation.
It is so hard to resist, now that the warmer weather is nearing and there will be many BBQ's

Ditto. We used our BBQ for the first time this year yesterday and I ate 2 yummy hot dogs

DH will NOT leat me have hot dogs :( i am dying for one. I really wanted a mini cocktail frank yesterday and I couldnt.

My Dr. told me hot dogs were totally fine as long as they were completely cooked. She also said to just stay away from the ones sold in the sidewalk carts.

I gotta ask my doctor if hotdogs are ok now because I have been craving them but have heard that they were a big no no.
Sausages i've had though. Last weekend I made sausage and peppers and onions...
