Currently our home is our apt...we plan on staying here until we're able to afford a house/home.
BUT...once we do buy a house...we plan on staying in it forever.

I'm ready to move today (we have only been in our home 2.5 years), but I realistically think we will move in another 2 years. I just accepted a job in Suffolk and it will be easier to move closer to there.

We have to stay 5 years on our 30 year loan or face major penalities. This was the only stipulation to get a 6% loan 3 weeks ago so it was definately worth it. I can't see moving before that anyway.

DH wants to move out of NY so if the right job opportunity comes up we will move. If not we will stay and we will have to dormer.

When we bought our house, we said we'd live here 5 years and move. Well, we've been here almost 6 years and are not going anywhere soon. We have 4 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms, so there is enough room, but overall, space is tight and we do need a bigger house eventually.

Our house is a starter house with great potential to build on/up anbd expand. I think being the neighborhood we are in and all the other good factors that we are in it for the long haul.

I'm not sure. I don't like putting myself on a timeline, because you never know what can happen. We bought a small house that we can afford for now, so we can either sell it or expand onto it.

I am not sure.
Someday I would like a bigger house on the water with a place for a boat...
But if we had to stay here we could make it work. We could fit 3 kids here and even have room to expand if need be.
So I guess we will see what happens!
