I hate to admit it (school related)
but I have already buying things for September for my classroom. It's so depressing. But, Target had so many school supplies on sale for such cheap prices, I just had to. Believe it or not, a lot of stuff was bought already.

 Well, I have a list of supplies (won't buy anything because my stipend does not take effect till 8/1) AND I've read two books that I will be doing with my class AND I have worked on September's reading unit. I've only been done for a little more than two weeks.

We were at Target on Sunday and I could see that they were already prepping the area for back to school stuff. It is crazy! It's like Christmas decorations after Halloween.

I hear ya! I used to do the same thing... I found a Dollar Tree in the area that is selling teacher supplies-sentence strips, stickers, etc for a dollar!! It gets expensive after a while

I have no stipend and I'm not buying a blessed thing.
I have no contract and the board refuses to meet with the union until the week before school.
They can @#$% as far as I'm concerned 
I won't be going in until I have to.

I havent' bought any supplies yet, but have been reading a lot for anew course I am teaching... and I made my syllabus for next year! Like I tell my students... It's okay to be a nerd... just be a successful nerd! I love being a nerd! No offense...

Staples had their $0.01 sale so I went and stocked up and then Walmart had Crayola Crayons at $0.20 a box so I went to stock up there too!!!!
