crazy things our parents told u that we now know is BS...LOL
FOr example my mother used to tell me as a child that my room would go on fire if i didnt clean the dust and things out from under my bed. I now know this is so untrue....
have u ever realized something later on in life that is not true?

My mom told us that she bought us at the store (I guess we had the "where did we come from" question)... and I seriously pictured my sister and I (we're twins ) sitting on a shelf at the store 
My husband LOVES this story  and always says "yep, 2 for 1, the __(last name) twins! they sing they dance" (as if he's trying to sell us )
I gotta say thats pretty funny but I just roll my eyes when he starts, until I explode

That was great! I'm going to have to remember these.
My mom told us that she had eyes in the back of her head & could see what we were doing to each other behind her back.
Some of the lies I've told so far are:
Restaurants have spanking rooms -so they need to behave.
If they say they're full, they have to stick out their tongue & I declare "No you're not! I can see you still have room left"
That they're magic.

Dad had me believing for a while that the world was black & white when he was a kid!
He would remind me that all his pictures were black & white, all the reruns of shows he watched as a kid were in black in white too!
Sorta funny that so many years later they made movie like that!!!! (Pleasantville) Thanks Dad!

My sister used to tell me one that would scare the crapola outta me.
She told me that if I ate chicken and it wasn't cooked enough then that chicken would lay eggs in my stomach! Then the little chicks would hatch and peck away at my intestines in order to get out?

When I was bad my mother used to tell me she was going to call the childrens home. She even had the number in the telephone book. She would call and I would throw a fit. I pictured it like the dog pound with kids in cages and they would take me away in net. Funny, now when I look back on it but God was I scared. When I would calm down she would pretend to call back and say I promised to be good. Talk about emotional abuse.
