really? Ummm I don't...the whole indsutry feels the effects of this and my company has been talking recently about the effects we are starting to feel. So even though you want to "highly doubt" this notion...for me it's a reality.
Well, I'm sorry to hear that and now I see why you're so adamant about your opinion. But can't they just somehow lower the prices...I think that would have a good affect on the industry.
Sure but then dont be upset and complain when the quality of the music itself, or the quality of the recording or the quality of the song decreases. It really does take a lot for an album to come out.
The band needs to be paid
the songwriter needs to be paid
the studio needs to be paid
the bands manager needs to be paid
the studio manager needs to be paid
the engineer needs to be paid
the producer needs to be paid
the artist for the cover needs to be paid
the printer of the cover art needs to be paid
the distribution company needs to be paid
the truck driver needs to be paid
and so on and so forth...that's a lot of people!

Thats why its great to be a DJ.
Promotional stuff rules... and it costs next to nothing for me for music because I work to "advertise" all these artists trying to sell their CDs.
