Do you cook dinner every night?

I usually try to cook dinner at least 4-5 times a week. I'm not going to be able to cook for at least 6 weeks...that's when my new kitchen is "supposed" to be ready.

I pretty much cook everynight. Some nights I pull something like chili or sauce out of the freezer so I don't have to cook. Also, MIL lives with us so she will cook a night or two. Pretty much we have a homecooked meal every night.

Wow, you're so lucky that your DH cooks. My husband could care less about cooking meals. I really don't mind doing the cooking, though. Although, it would be so nice to come home to a home cooked meal that I didn't cook. I probably would fall down in shock if he did that. Chat Icon

Ok Good then I cook almost every night. DH will pick up the slack on school nights that I forget to make something for the crock pot!

Re: Do you cook dinner every night?

We cook Monday through Thursday - whoever gets home first.
Friday is usually pizza night
Saturday & Sunday is always up in the air - sometimes we cook, sometimes we go out to eat, sometimes we visit our parents.

Re: Do you cook dinner every night?

Maybe 3 nights a week. A couple of nights of leftovers, one night ordering in, and one night going out.

Re: Do you cook dinner every night?

DH does all of the cooking. the only thing i know how to make in the kitchen is a mess, ad several small fires Chat Icon Chat Icon

BUT i can bake cookies. and thats about it.

DH tries to threaten me and say that he wont cook for me, i retaliate and tell him Fine, then I'LL cook for him (he's tasted my cooking, he knows its a losing battle)... so I win Chat Icon

DH sometimes cooks. We go out maybe one or two nights, I cook every other night. I don't mind it, I just hate the cleanup! Chat Icon
