my living room is a light yellow and I currently have olive green sofas..the bottom color on the wall is like a brown mustard color with white moulding. We also have a red brick fireplace.

We also painted our living room BM Desert Tan. I'll try to take a better pic because this is the best I've go to show right now (it was Halloween, we're not weirdos). I love the color, but if I had to do it over again I would chose something a little darker/deeper.

Our kithcen is yellow and I LOVE it...its Benjamin Moore's Ambiance.
Our sun room is shabby chic...LOVE it and it flows onto our living room which is one shade darker, dellwood sand. All are BM and I am very happy with my choices.

A good color for tan is Benjamin Moore HC-25. We have Mother Earth for our kitchen....that's a nice gold.

I just used berkshireBeige in my living room- it is a really deep beige.
I plan on using bleeker beige and manchester tan in my dining room- love it
In my master bedroom I used some sand... warm sand maybe... anyway I love it. It is a beige but no real yellow tones. It compliments my dark wood furniture beautifully!
