4th of July BBQ
What should I have? Of course, I'll have the requisite hot dogs, hamburgers, grilled chicken, beer & wine, chips, dip, watermelon....i'll prob make my angel food cake / blueberry / strawberry / cool whip "patriotic" dessert
anything else?
and how should I decorate my yard? Tiki torches maybe?

I was actually wondering how you make this. Do you leave it in the stalk? Cook it right on the grill? Skewers? How?

Re: 4th of July BBQ
I am doing a big BBQ and a few years ago we had tons of food, all types. This year we are having: - dogs, burgers and veggie burgers. - Cole slaw, potato salad, regular salad. - Veggies and dip. - Chips - Fruit salad - Dessert that SIL is bringing. - Beer, soda, water.
I have deicided that people do not expect or even notice if you have lots of things, and YOU have more fun the simpler it is!!
