5 1/2 months old and first fever
Ethan felt warm so I took his temp......its 100.3 I called the DR oncall and he said not to worry- that if it reaches 101 then to call back. This is my first child so I dont know whats normal. 100.3 seems high for a baby to me? He said to make sure that he stays hydrated and give him 4-6 oz of water. He isnt cranky or fussy.
Should I be worried with 100.3? Luckily we do have a DR appt tomorrow for his monthly check.
Thanks!

I wouldn't worry, I am pretty sure babies temperatures run a little higher.

100.3 technically isnt considered a fever, 100.4 is. A temp like that is probably due to teething. I would give him a little tylenol before bed.
