5 weeks old and starting to pump
How many ounces do you recommend I pump? I am thinking 4oz. What I pump will be stored in the freezer for DH to do some feedings over the weekends. He started to feel a little left out.

I started pumping around the same time and I pumped about 4 ozs. I just let the pump determine how much to do though!!! I pump for 10-15 minutes and when my boobs stopped, I stopped!!

In the beginning I would just pump for as long as it took for me to drain - usually less than 10 minutes. You can mess with your supply if you consistently cut the pumping short.
