5k in rain...
what do u wear? i signed up for the 5k at macarthur airport tomorrow, now they are saying it is going to rain during it...now what?lol i dont want to wear anything too heavy and make it harder..help

Wear a hat if you can, it will keep rain out of your eyes.
If its hot, you don't want extra clothes, even if its raining. Make sure to wear dri-fit clothing, nothing cotton. Definitely bring a jacket, extra change of socks, shoes for either bag check or to leave in car so you can change but I wouldn't wear anything too different than you would if it were sunny.

I'm doing that 5k tomorrow too and I have no idea what to do if it actually rains, hoping if it will only be a light drizzle if anything

I have run in the rain many times. I suggest you wear what you would normally wear race day for the particular temperature. I would wear shorts and a tank top with a running cap to keep the rain out of my eyes.
I am not sure if you stick around for awards, but I would bring flip flops to change into, a towel to dry off, and probably a new shirt to switch into.

Tomorrow, wear shorts and dri-fit tank. Like a previous poster said, try to avoid cotton. just make sure you bring a change of clothes for afterward. good luck!
