5th graders similies about themselves...
I had to share a few of these similies my students came up with.
"I'm am as rich as a carwasher"
"I'm as funny as a rock"
"I'm as tough as a trunk"
"I'm as reliable as a trained dog"
"I'm as special as a rock"
"I'm as reliable as a liar"
"I'm as smart as a doorknob"
"I'm as nice as Mrs. H___" <--- my favorite 
And now, the #1 similie:
"I'm as lazy as my Dad"
