I need to order a hero for friday but i was looking for something beside the basic Italian and American any rec's in the hicksville/ levittown area ?

Not in your area but Ceriello in Williston Park makes a chicken cutlet hero & a grilled veg hero also.
Try Iavarrone too.
Maybe your local deli will make the same.

"My Hero" in N Bellmore, or N Merrick, not sure, but they make the best heros!!!
