6 month old sleep help needed!!!!

DS will be 6 months old next week. He STTN from 8-18 weeks, but then I went back to work. He then started waking up to nurse 1-2x/night. It was tolerable as he went right back to bed. This past week, DS has been waking literally very hour. He screams and screams until we finally pick him up (after at least 5 minutes of crying/screaming). He usually falls asleep after a few minutes, but wakes up immediately when we lay him back down. He also has been up 2 hours straight every night.

We started solids this month. Cereals bound him, so only fruits and veggies at this time.

I am not a fan of CIO. Please, please, any advice to break this new pattern is much appreciated.

I wish I knew...been up since 4:30am and have a 6.5 month old....same thing happened to me, as soon and I went back to work she wasn't STTN like she knew I was going to leave her or something lol...from what I have read sounds like separation anxiety, could be teething...what time is his last feeding? I used to feed her barley right before she would sleep through the night so she would be full but she would wake up screaming every hour. So I stopped the barely and just gave her milk with a little cereal and she didn't wake up as much...maybe your feeding him too late?

Ugh it could be so many things...just hang in there!
