Re: 7-8 month olds....have food questions!!
I make Kristina a meat and a veg for dinner every night.... I try to keep them to the same meal no more than 3 nights in a row so that she can get some variety.

And are you giving any "snacks?" She always wants to eat my food I feel bad. But what could I even give her?
For snacks - she eats puffs, wheels, and yogurt melts (all by gerber)
I also have given her turkey cold cuts (shredded by my hand), pieces of chicken, pieces of steak.... anything that I eat, I have given her.... just make sure that it's small/soft enough for her to gum!

Re: 7-8 month olds....have food questions!!
DD is almost 8 months and has: Bkfast: 4tbsp of Oatmeal with 2 oz formula and a Stage 2 fruit Lunch: Stage 2 Veggie and 1/2 to a full yobaby Dinner: Stage 2 meat which comes mixed with a veggie, Stage 2 fruit
I haven't started snacks yet. I plan to ask my Ped about it at her next appt which is soon. I do give her some puffs after dinner every night so she can practice picking them up. She's still not too good at it so she doesn't actually eat much.

Re: 7-8 month olds....have food questions!!
DD is a little over 8 months but its been the same for the last couple of weeks.
Breakfast - always 2-3 T of oatmeal with fruit. I make my own food but I think it equals out to be the same amount as a stage 2 fruit. On the weekends though I give her pancakes, waffles, etc also. Then 4 oz formula.
Lunch - either a fruit and a veggie, or yogurt, or a veggie with pastina. Or I'll even give her mac n' cheese. Another 4 oz.
Between lunch and diinner is another 3 oz bottle.
Dinner - usually a meat mixture. Usually I give her turkey with potatoes and carrots, pork chops and apples, etc. Last night I made shepherds pie and pureed that for her and she loved it.
Another 7 ox bottle before bed.
Snacks are usually puffs or teething biscuits. Sometimes I'll give cheese too.
Hope this helps!!
