7 month old sleeping question
For those of you with babies around 7 months or so, how do you get your baby to go to bed so early? Connor will not go to bed until 9:30pm on average. Sometimes a little earlier, sometimes a little later. It just depends. I just can't see him going to bed around 7 or 8pm? I also used to be able to just lay him in bed when we was sleepy and he'd go to sleep, but this past month he "needs" me to rock him so sleep before putting him in the crib. Sometimes he'll go to sleep on his own but hardly anymore. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Re: 7 month old sleeping question
I give James his dinner usually around 530 or 6, then he gets his bath and hangs out for a little bit, maybe we read a story or something, then he has his bottle. I'm lucky though, I put him right in his crib and he puts himself to sleep. Good luck.

Maddie also goes to bed between 9-9:30. We've tried earlier bedtimes and have been unsuccessful but I don't have a problem with her going to be at this time because it usually means she'll sleep til 8-8:30

Re: 7 month old sleeping question
DS gets his last bottle around 6:30-7pm and just falls asleep right after. I didn't really do anything to set this bedtime, he just can't stay up past that time.

Same here. He's one a 2 hour schedule during the day, so his body tells him he's tired by then. Sometimes he falls asleep in his highchair and sometimes we have to rock him to sleep. But he pretty much sleeps from 7pm-7am. Last night he was fussing early so I fed him a few minutes early. He was passed out in his highchair by 6:45pm and slept until 7:30 this morning.

Sydney is 7 1/2 months old... she goes to bed between 9:30 and 10:30... I love this bedtime... I love having extra time with her at night after i get home from work... I am hoping she keeps it up!

Megan goes to sleep later too.
Usually between 10 and 10 30 most nights.
It works for me because she usually sleeps until 10 in the morning. I have NO problems with it at all.

Re: 7 month old sleeping question
Well after not sleeping all day at daycare he pretty much passes out in the car on the way home. Even with waking up from that nap at 6:15ish he is still ready for bed at 7:30 the latest.

Same with my boys...they cant seem to stay up any later. After their bath, I give them another bottle and just go right to bed.
