8 week old only naps when out -- UPDATE!
My DD naps like a champ when we go for walks or run errands all day, but when I am home with her I try to put her down for a nap in her crib, but she cries constantly.
When I go back to work she is going to a babysitter who won't be taking her in the car, and probably not in the stroller b/c she has to watch my nephew who is 4 and won't walk while she pushes the stroller, etc.
How do I get her to nap at home???
Any tips?!

Well, here we are 2:42 and since I wrote this originally about an hour ago she has been asleep in the crib.
Thank god for the swaddle!

I'd put her in the stroller in the house. That's what we do... DD won't fall asleep for a nap without being rocked. It's a PITA at times to be honest, but I can't handle my DD without a nap so I do what I have to do.

DS was the same way at 8 weeks! No matter what I did...he would not nap at home! He still(at 4 months) isn't a great napper!!

Do you think I should keep trying to instill the crib for naps when home so I don't get her into a bad habit or should I just stop hyper scheduling her.
Ahhh, I never realized I would have this many sleep questions!!1

Break out the swing and let her nap in there! At 8 weeks, its hard to schedule anything.

My ds used to sleep in his pack n play, but then we noticed he started sleeping better in the swing. So that's where he takes his naps during the day. Test it out!
