Can you help me name my freelance business?
I'm a SAHM who freelances on the side and I need to come up with a business name of some sort.
I was previously in marketing for an architectural firm, so many of my contacts are along that industry. I am a graphic designer who specializes in layouts of brochures and books, business cards, flyers, photography coordination for completed works....things like that. I can also do invitations, menus, banners...basically anything!
I'm coming up with blah names like VCA Productions (my initials)....my SIL came up with Queen Bee Design & Production, but then someone else mentioned that it could be a negative connotation...so help please!

I am not help with this but I wouldn't do Queen Bee either.
First impression I had with that name is sounds a little childish (not sure why I felt that way) and I kinda thought she thinks she that good.
Then my mind when to Beyonce since everyone calls her queen b
I would probably put something in the name that indicates what you are.
VCA productions for me would never let me know you are a graphic designer BUT I don't look to hire graphic designers so I have no idea what others graphic designers use

I wouldn't do Queen Bee either. What about something like VCA Graphics? I'm not good at this either!

VCA (make a logo for this part) and then put graphic design Under it. Plain Sanserif font

I was dinidesigns for a while (Dini was end of my last name) hardly used it because I grabbed a hold of ongoing 1099 work from the start.

I hire freelance graphic designers and a name likd this works perfectly. If someone with a company name of Queen Bee answered a bid proposal I would not even consider them. I know that might sound harsh but to me it just isn't professional.

there's actually a Queen B's invites (i think thats how it is spelled) on instagram and facebook that steals everyone's work. other stationery associates of mine have had their work copied. She actually advertises that if you see a design somewhere she will copy it. why pay someone else when she can do it for a$1.00

I think a simple name works well, and you can showcase your design features in the logo, thereby showing that you can combine simplicity and style.
