Re: 2017 Spring Shred

I will start.. I gained so much weight over the last year with the lack of working out, eating like a monster and drinking. So enough buying fat jeans and crying when I get dressed to my hubby, doing something about it.

Goal: Lose 22lbs by end of June. 32 by October.

Today I started the 10-day smoothie cleanse with my
Husband. I worked out yesterday on the Arc Climber for 40 min. Will try to do 3-4 days of working out this week starting tomorrow.

I gained 10-15 pounds, started calorie counting and went from 135-131, then I am on day 3 of military diet and weighed in this morning at 128. three more pounds so I am going to be calorie counting once today is over, maybe do the military diet once every 2 weeks.
exercise I need to step up!

Re: 2017 Spring Shred

I stayed on track from our last weight loss thread in beginning of 2016. I lost 20 pounds over the course of the year. then I got a stress fracture in my femur and my exercise started to die off. From there, I got lazy with food. Thanksgiving I got sick and was sick for 2 months. Could hardly eat. Lost more weight. But as soon as I was better, went off the rails.

I gained 5 of my original 20 lb loss back and I am not happy.

My new goal is to lose 10 lbs by Memorial Day (15 would be amazing but I have to be realistic) I plan on watching my carb & sugar intake and working more on my portion control. I'm back at the gym a little. As much as my leg allows me. I weighed in on Friday and will weigh in every Friday going forward.

Best of luck everyone!! With the sun shining, it's great motivation.

Re: 2017 Spring Shred

I didn't make it to kickboxing today because I was exhausted, actually about to go to bed.

I am definitely going to workout atleast 3x this week shooting for 4. On day two of green smoothies, snacked on carrots, grapes, hard boiled eggs. My goal for tomorrow is to make it to kickboxing!

Joining you! My goal is to lose the 12lbs I gained last summer/fall & fit back into my work pants. I'm a freelancer so I'm not working again until the end of April.

I'm getting back into the routine of starting my day with a big glass of lemon water. I've been doing workouts at home with YouTube videos by Fitness Blender, they are awesome! And getting out of the house everyday doing a run/walk combo.

Re: 2017 Spring Shred

Hi girls! I had DS3 last July so I'm working on the last bit of baby weight. I joined WW online on Oct 1 and am down 18 lbs so far. I have 10 more to go. I'd like to lose 5 by April 21 (when DS will be 9 months to bring me back to my pre-preg weight). And then the last 5 are for vanity to get back to my weight before I got preg with DS1.

In addition to WW I've started running again. I'm signed up for a 10K in the fall and the Disney Challenge in Feb 2018, which is a 10K on Sat and a half on Sunday.

I really need to get back on track with tracking my WW points. I stopped for vacation in Feb and have had a hard time starting up again.

Re: 2017 Spring Shred

I'd love to join. Always looking to lose a few lbs, but I'm more of less over the scale and working on body recomp. instead.

I've been doing IIFYM and love it. I have a MUCH healthier relationship with food and myself than I ever did on any other plan I've done - including several years on WW.

Workouts both DH & I started Stronglifts 5x5 on Sunday. So I'll do that 3x week. Mixed in some heavy bag and HIIT workouts on off days.

Re: 2017 Spring Shred

I think I am going to join WW on Friday. I did well with My Fitness Pal. Then Switched to Dr. Oz. Day off Diet and that worked for a while. I'm now kinda floating between those two things. I'm not sure if I'm going to see much of a difference with that so I'll join WW for a month or 2 and see where that takes me

I'm thinking of joining this Friday also!! Depending on the meeting times I want to do it Friday or Saturday. I would like to lose 10 lbs. Have done WW in the past, but not the new plan.

Re: 2017 Spring Shred

Perfect timing.

I've gotten way too comfortable being a lazy ass. Enough is enough. I refuse to buy bigger clothes and/or complain about being fat.

Last October, I bought a fitbit, but hadn't really used it. This month, they started a step challenge at work, and it has been the perfect catalyst to get me started.

I am tracking EVERYTHING. I also bought running shoes and began c25k again.

I want to be back at my single weight... 145 (which is still a little chubby for my height... but anything less and I look like I'm dying)

You'll be back to it before you know it. Wear your Fitbit daily and keep us posted on your progress with C25k! It's such an amazing program! Are you feeling confident enough to schedule a 5k in the future? This way you have a goal in mind?

2017 Spring Shred

I joined WW the end of February, I have more weight to lose than I care to admit, but I will be happy if I can drop 10-20 by Memorial Day. I lose at a snails pace, so it's very frustrating at times, but I know that the slow loss is healthier for me.

I do kickboxing twice a week. DH recently became a certified personal trainer, so he's got me a strength training program that I do 2-3 times a week. Last night was kickboxing, tonight I will be at the gym for my strength!

I joined WW about 3 weeks ago, and I'm down 9 lbs already! I am still 10-12 lbs away from where I'd be happy and 15-20 lbs from my ideal weight but I'm already in such a better mood. Some things I have been eating:

Breakfast: oatmeal (4-6 pts) with a frigo light cheese stick (1 pt), zone perfect protein bar (7 pts)
Lunch: PB2 peanut butter (2 pts) on sandwich flatbreads from TJ's (3 pts)
Dinner: TJ's 99% fat free ground turkey (1pt per 4oz) for tacos, chili, etc., TJ's turkey burgers (3 pts), TJ's pesto chicken (2 pts) or TJ's carne asada (4 pts) with grilled cauliflower, spaghetti squash and zucchini noodles with tomato sauce (3 pts) or vodka sauce (4 or 5pts), smart ones frozen dinners (6-9 pts)
Snacks: apples, bananas, clementines, skinnypop, jell-o, applesauce

Wow sounds like an intense work out, awesome job. I am the opposite, loathe squats even though they are so good for you.

2017 Spring Shred

I don't necessarily need to lose weight, but I am trying to change my body composition as PP said.

Yesterday, I did the Z Body Fitness from Zoe Rodriguez Booty Workout

This morning I did a 20 minute HIIT cycling workout and this afternoon I will be doing Kayla Itsine's BBG Arms workout.

I know I need to STOP eating while I prep meals. Being a grazer is my downfall! LOL

2017 Spring Shred

About 2 1/2 yrs ago I went from a job where I was always on the go, out of the office and moving, to a job that is almost 100% sedentary - and the pounds have just packed on. I've always worked out, on a semi-regular basis, but when I was in a job that had me on the move, I was able to eat without really paying any attention, and not gain weight. Since the new job, it's been really bad and I reached a point where I had to do something. I would love to lose 40lbs, but would be very happy with 30.

I joined WW on 2/18 and am down 14 lbs as of today! Going to the meetings (or really, knowing that I have a weigh-in coming up lol) has kept me motivated. And I really have not found it to be too difficult. I've gone out to dinner at least once a week since I joined, my birthday was last week and I went to a St. Patrick's Day party. I do splurge on a nice dinner out with wine, apps and dessert once a week - it helps me to knowing that I have that to look forward to. I track EVERYTHING I eat on the WW app - it is so helpful and makes it really easy to track. I find with WW, a lot of it (for me anyway) has to do with being very conscious of what I eat, instead of the mindless snacking that I would do all day, in the past. Also, with WW, I pretty much plan out what and when I will be eating each day, so I am not "guessing" at what to eat all day trying to stay on track.

Since joining WW, I've also been more motivated to work out more regularly. I know get to the gym at least 3x's per week and at a minimum run 2.5 miles each time. It feels good to feel my body getting stronger and to fit back into clothes that I haven't been able to wear in a long time Chat Icon
