5 days in WW and I'm down -1.8lbs.
Not bad.
Let's see what next Friday brings !

I did over 17k steps today. Took a dance class and lifted heavy

Not gonna lie - I want pizza and cake lol

Great day!

Hey - all in moderation - nothing wrong with pizza and cake. Pizza is worked into my plan every week.

Went a little off Saturday night. We went out for mom's b-day dinner, but I had most of my weekly points saved for it. Good thing I got some good work outs in, went into my fit points as well! Mostly back on track yesterday, except for the doughnut at the street fair near me...they just looked sooooo good. Made DH split it with me though.

Even with all that, lost another 1.5 lbs this morning! It's a slow process for me, but as long as I stay consistent I know I will reach my goals.

1.5 is a fantastic loss - not slow at all. You're doing fantastic. Great job splitting the doughnut with DH!

Re: 2017 Spring Shred

Another good week of 5x5. Been wanting to add push/pull days and HIIT, but have been sick.
Feeling like myself today, just finished 5x5, planning a HIIT workout in a bit, 10k steps, and yoga tonight.

Re: 2017 Spring Shred

I made the Somoa cookie pie this week for my friend's birthday and OMG talk about Chat Icon

Some of the girls do WW so they plugged in the numbers for 1/16 of the pie which is truly a sliver and it was 17 points!

Thankfully for my plan I eat and was able to make the sliver work without guilt..... but look at these macros!

Wow! That's a lot for a tiny little piece. At my WW meeting last week, the leader said that the average person eats 180 points PER DAY!!! I know I eat much smarter now, but I can't imagine that I was eating 6 X's(!!!) what I eat now! But I guess when you're not really thinking about it, things add up!

Chinese kickboxing is a class I take at my son's KungFu class. You work in pairs and take turns, one person holds focus mits and the other has gloves and punches and kicks. So you learn defense and blocking as well. We also do breaks in between with core and conditioning work such as push up, jumping jacks abs etc.

My gym is actually Platness fitness but I supplement with the kickboxing cause I get a yearly deal. The cardio classes I have been taking are from a groupon I bought for fitness classes. I got 8 classes for $43. I am trying to switch it up to stay interested.

2017 Spring Shred

Since we went away this weekend, I was not able to do my usual lifting on Saturday and Sunday. AND my MIL sent me home with a bunch of junk food since she didn't want it in her house (Thanks!).

Saturday - 50 minute run 8:20 pace - negative splits
Sunday - 40 minute bike ride outside - 11 miles
Monday - 45 minute run 8:40 pace

I figure the weather is nice so it's okay to not be stuck in the gym. Back to lifting tomorrow.

2017 Spring Shred

I haven't had any alcohol for 3 weeks. For me this is HUGE since I am a glass of wine almost every day person. My eating got crazy the past week but I started new yesterday.

I am not cleared to exercise yet but I got to Physical Therapy 3x a week and the last 2 times I was there for 3 hrs so while Im not dogn anything crazy I was able to get on the treadmill and bike for a short period of time.

This weather is killing me though as it kills me I can't run.....so instead I bought a new pair of running shoes on sale this AM.

Always great to change things up and get outside. Especially with this amazing weather! But yeah - nothing beats lifting - I'm loving it!

FANTASTIC on no alcohol!!!

I can imagine it being painful not being able to get out there to enjoy this weather, but like you're doing - taking it easy and healing is best.
