office mandating masks again
Is anyone else's office mandating mask again after allowing vaccinated employees to not wear them?
We were allowed to stop wearing masks in the office if you showed proof of vaccination.
They sent out an email yesterday saying that as of Monday we all have to be masked again as per advice from CDC because Nassau and Suffolk fall in high transmission areas.
I am wondering if stores and businesses will follow suit with this .
My DH is a teacher and while he hasn't officially heard from his district his principal said they will be masked at school.

Yes, our offices (which aren't fully open anyway, but had been piloting having some people back) are requiring masks again. If you are alone in an closed-door office, you can take your mask off, but you must wear it in public.

In my office if you are walking around you need to wear a mask. Sitting at your desk no.

Yes, happening all over it seems. It’s a good idea by your employer.
I think schools will mandate masks.

Same.
I’ve seen some stores mandate masks again for the employees and “strongly recommend masks for customers” regardless of their vaccination status.

Not an office but we have asked all of our employees to wear masks and distance when taking it down to eat etc. thankfully everyone is on the same page.
90% of us are vaccinated

Yes, my office went from no masks for those who are vaccinated to masks for all, earlier this week. When sitting in your office or at your desk, no mask is required.

Our offices in NY are mandating masks for everyone. This was announced beginning of last week.

I wouldn't know as I still don't have an office.
But I hear they are mandating me wearing a mask while working in my bedroom.

I think the people who do go into our office have to wear them walking around. We still have no set date to go back and my manager said the only thing they told them is that our dept can be the last one if they need to limit the amount of people. None of us really want to go back, including the bosses (she didn't say THAT to them but they probably get the drift lol)

Shoprite by me here in NJ had a sign up yesterday saying to please wear your mask.......masks are definitely making a comeback. And I just ate out at a restaurant that started giving out paper menus again and all staff is masked.

Not yet, but we’re no longer going by the honor system. If you don’t want to wear a mask, you need to submit proof of vaccination.

Bay Shore Target had a sign today stating masks were mandatory for all. The sign said they are a high risk area.

I work for an essential business and have been working in the office this whole time. They’ve never stopped requiring us to wear masks, so nothing new. We were on track to remove the requirement but I was going to continue to wear one anytime I was outside of my office (and I am vaccinated). Better safe than sorry.

Yes. Masks required indoors. Vaccines required unless you get a medical exemption.

We haven’t gotten anything yet but we are closed for mid summer break until Tuesday.
I’m sure there will be one on Tuesday.
