I've never really been a fan. I'm not sure if I've ever seen it all the way through, but I have seen the whole thing in parts.
I don't hate it, but I don't get all the hype.

I know. It's on nonstop for like 2 months out of the year. I've just never sat down and watched the whole thing.
What's worse is that I have a degree in film, yes film. I've seen over a thousand films and never saw this "classic" one. I guess I'll have to try to catch it this year.

I put it on on Christmas eve (usually there is a marathon on one of the channels) while I am cooking and preparing dinner and laugh and laugh and laugh!!

That and Christmas Vacation is Christmas to me! When the marathon is on, I keep it on all day, my dh wants to kill me!
I am dieing to buy the leg lamp for my window but in my neighborhood, no one will understand what it is.
