a couple of questions i figured you ladies might be able to answer..
so now that im on tocalytics to keep the contractions away... How will my body know when its time to actaully have the baby? Will i have to have a c-section?? will i have to stop the meds at a certain time and then let nature take it from there?
i know i have to ask the doctors these ?'s but i dont want to ask them stupid ?'s

They will most likely take you off the meds around 36/36 weeks.... then you will go into labor on your own, but the baby will be fine.

Usual rule of thumb is that doctors stop tocolytics at 36 weeks, to get them out of your system. You wont have to have a csection from this. The one thing is that you might go into labor earlier, depending on much your body was depending on the meds.

thank you..thats good to know.. i feel totally clueless and like i probably should have asked these ?'s before i left the hospital. i was just so ready to get out of there!!
