A few weeks after the holidays...what toy is your kid still playing with?
no ideal what the appeal is, dh picked it out...but the best 20.00 we spent
hours with this thing!

Almost everything. Her train, her blocks, the play kitchen.
Beyond the day she got it DD hasn't picked up the doll she got from grandma.

My step-son got that marble thing when he was 7 and he still plays with it at 13!
SS (13 y/o)favorite things are a remote control trick car from my parents and his Guitar Hero
DS (1 y/o)favorite things are the laugh and learn farm, stacking cups, blocks, mickey mouse doll, leap frog car wash - he is really still playing with everything, but those seem to get the most attention

Jared has that same marble set. Unfortuately we have to keep taking it down and putting it up because of Nikolas.
Jared is still playing with Spike the dinosaur.

I didn't get her any because she doesn't play with toys. At all.
I bought her dance lessons instead, and took her shopping yesterday for a leotard, tutu, ballet shoes and tap shoes.
And ever since she has been running around the house practicing what she learned in class

Play kitchen, table & chairs, Sesame Street pull out couch and his power drills - pretty much everything b.c we rotated everything else out of the playroom.

Mostly her brother's little toys...the spin around FP zoo; the FP rollercoaster/amusement park thing; the Melissa & Doug magnetic dress up dolls & her play tunnel/tent

She's currently wearing a princess skirt over her pajamas as she plays with her new Play Doh set, so I'd say those are the 2 big winners!

And of course, he is scared of the damn horse. He told me this morning "That horsey is going to eat me"

As soon as he wakes up in the morning, he sets up all of his train tracks. He won't even eat or drink until all of them are hooked up.

I have to say, DS plays with everything! he just rotates between all his toys. But his favorites are a little car walker and that learning home thing.
