A ? for those who had back labor.....

I'm 4 months PP and my back still hurts where I had the pain of my labor. It actually only hurts when I try to sleep in my favorite position
Does anyone else's back still hurt? I'm thinking of going to a chiropractor...(never have before)

I had horrendous back labor. I still get pain, usually when I try to stand up and hold Jesse for too long a period of time. I went to my doctor, who said something about the sacro-iliac joint (really low on your back, like your butt area). He gave me some options (exercises, muscle relaxers, cortisone shots). All I've done is the exercises because I am EBF so I don't want any medication.

Maybe try your doctor to see if he can determine the cause of your pain, and then consider your options.
