On the other hand, I was downtown NYC last week - alone- and I had a man STOP DEAD midstep, turn around, look me up and down twice, and say, "Dayummmmmmm I would love to know what those taste like." while licking his lips and grabbing his crotch.

Now THAT'S offensive.

I would have felt weird too...if he had said it in DD that is one thing BUT to wait outside for you...that is creepy! I would have been flustered. YOu never know what people these days will do...Maybe I am paranoid but especially being pregnant I would have been upset

yea guys like that skeeve me out. they think they're paying you a compliment but dont realize that staring at your boobs is not a way to get your phone #. when they tell me i'm pretty i usually hold up my ring hand and say "thanks, my husband thinks so too". that usually makes them go away.

Now it is sounding creepy. You should definitley start going to my Dunkin, it's commuters, grandma and grandpa. The grandma's and grandpa's will just tell you that you look skinny or you are cute. They don't stalk you because they have to run to a table.

These stories remind me of one that creeped me out last summer too!
I was putting gas in my car and this guy in a van pulled up to the other side of the pump I was using- got out and said - "You are VERY attractive!"
So I said "Thank you- that made my day"
He then says- "Well I will tell you that evey day if you let me!"

At that point I played the hubby card too and said "Gee I don't think my husband would like that too much!"

To which he replied- "Well he doesn't have to know"

That is the part that ****** me off- because it was disrespectful. I don't mind a compliment- trust me I'll take all I can get- but once I tell you I'm married- ENOUGH! Geez!

As I was getting in my car he said- "Please just one last smile for me?"

That creeped me out too-a bit too stalkerish!

I actually think it's nice. It doesn't happen to me anymore (LOL) but when I worked in the city a couple guys stopped me to say I had beautiful eyes. Hey, I could think of worse ways to start a day! Now...if he followed you via car, dial 911....but just a little comment is nice! I think....
