A long and overdue Beth Lowe review!!
A very long and overdue review on Beth Lowe. Sorry for the delay. We closed December 7th, but things have been very hectic.
I never imagined that in January of 2011, when I first met Beth, we would be working together for nearly two years to find the perfect house. Beth was beyond patient with us and my kids. At times she was not just a realtor, but a marriage counselor and therapist!!
My daughter had such an attachment to Beth that she would run out of the car to greet her and take a firm grasp of Beth's hand. The owners of the house would assume Beth was the buyer and I was the agent because she was hand in hand with my daughter. It became a litle joke with us.
In addition to being great with my kids, she also, at times , was a marriage counselor. Buying a home is stressful and although we agreed about a lot of things, after leaving some houses, my dh and I would disagree. Beth was very professional and honest in helping us settle our different opinions at times.
Beth was also my own personal therapist. During the course of the home search process Beth would listen to me at length vent about anything and everything related to buying a house.
When we first began to look we had a budget and we were torn between three towns. After about 6 months we changed our budget due to the fact that we realized if we spend just a little more, we could get a lot more. This was a realization that my dh and I came up with on our own. Beth never pressured us to raise our limit. After another few months we zoned in on Oceanside. In November 2011, we were thisclose to signing contracts. When we found out the house needed a bunch of C/O's we backed out. Beth was behind us all the way and never gave up on the fact that we would eventually find THE house.
Early in 2012, my mom got injured, followed by a bout with cancer. I was still house hunting, but it wasn't my main priority. Beth was very sympathetic to this fact, and only when she felt a house might sell quickly and it could be the one, did she really suggest to go see a house.
In late August of 2012 we found THE HOUSE! Beth was there every step of the way of the closing process. She answered countless questions from me with a ton of patience! Although,the task of finding the perfect house became daunting at times, Beth made it fun and never lost faith we would find the one. There are truly no words to express how wonderful Beth was to work with. For anyone looking to buy or sell, I highly recommend her
