A Newbie's questions on books, websites, etc
I'd like to do some reading and look at some websites?
What are good books for me to read right now?
Is What to Expect While Your Expecting the standard? Any other good ones?
Also -regarding websites, which are good to keep up with fetal development, changes, etc on a weekly basis?
Thanks!

I liked fertilityfriend.com on the pregnancy side. The have boards based on the month you are due and you have a lot of ladies in the same stage as you. They are super nice there too

For a book I'd say Your Pregnancy week by week. It's not as scary as what to expect.
Good luck!!

Re: A Newbie's questions on books, websites, etc
I don't think that What to Expect is scary.
I have that one, the Mayo Clinic Guide to Pregnancy (got that for free from my insurance provide), Your Pregnancy Week By Week, Belly Laughs, and The Girlfriends Guide.
My favorite is Your Pregnancy Week by Week, because I only read a few pages a week.
I thought Belly Laughs was funny, but don't buy it, it's really short and not something you will refer back to. Borrow from a friend. Same goes for the Girlfriend's Guide.
Babycenter.com is helpful, though I don't really like their forum boards, people are nasty to each other.

Re: A Newbie's questions on books, websites, etc
I highly recommend the Mayo Clinic Guide to a Healthy Pregnancy. Some other good books are What to expect when your expecting and What to expect the first year. Baby bargains is a great book for baby items and Baby 411 is a great resource for caring for a newborn. As for websites, babycenter.com, babyzone.com, pregnology.com, baby2see.com, whattoexpect.com.
