A Poop Question-Potty Training Related
Okay, what is up with this?
DS has now pooped twice, both times on the floor next to his potty. I don't know exactly how this came about--he wants his privacy when he needs to use the potty, so he asks me to leave the room. And with pee it has been okay--he pees in the potty, maybe a trace gets on the floor, but no big deal.
Did anyone else have a child doing this? Does he not want to do poop in his potty for some reason? Help me understand!

welcome to my world.
pooped on floor next to potty forever!
peeing is no issue...poop a different story.
needs privacy...goes in and does it on floor right near toliet.
I could not take it anymore...so he asked for a bag!!
he would go in and poop in a bag! atleast I did not have to clean anymore...but still!!
he never volunteers that he has to poop...i tell him he has too and we go through this scene.
this is crazy...but he now goes on toliet...but...he has to put his feet on seat...squat and hands out on seat in front of him...like a leap frog position.. that's the only way he goes!!!!!!!!!!!
boys are strange

LOL!!! Especially when I read about the bag! If he keeps it up, I may try that.
He was very kind to try and help me pick up the poop (at least I've trained him well, he knows I expect him to pick stuff up when he drops it on the floor), but this is one time when I don't want him dealing with the mess.
It's nice they get privacy too, isn't it? But when I go to the bathroom he waltzes right in and practically sits in my lap.
Too funny these boys.
