A question about hauntings (yes, I mean like paranormal)...
Ok, so, I've been thinking about this a lot lately. There are different types of hauntings: intelligent ones that are supposedly spirits. They know you're there and can interact with you, there are poltergeist spirits in which a person helps the activity manifest itself, most often in a place with a lot of quartz or limestone in the land, and then there are residual hauntins, which are like a tape player replaying an event or an action or sound at the same time every hour, day, week, year, decade, or whatever. These types of hauntings aren't spirits. They're just trapped energy that somehow gets released. So, theoretically, you can have a residual haunting of someone even in they haven't died yet, right? How freaky is that? I keep thinking about it because we're about to move into a house where a woman has lived for over 50 years, and I just keep thinking that it's entirely possible that a residual haunting could happen even though she's still alive and just moving somewhere else. Ugg, too much thought for a Saturday

I suppose going by your theory, yes you could have a residual haunting. If it's any comfort, my sister lives in an 70 year old house and to the best of my knowledge her house is not haunted in any way, shape or form!
