A trip down memory lane!!!
I had something to do in Huntington today and I had to feed DD. I figured I might as well go to Heckshire park and feed her before running my errand since it was so nice out. I havent been there since I was a kid. I grew up in Huntington and it was my favorite place in the WORLD to go.
Anyway...I am NOT a sappy person AT ALL and I got a little emotional as I was sitting and feeding DD by the water. I walked around with her in the same park I LOVED as a kid and showed her the ducks. It was such a gorgeous day and just me and her. Such a  moment.
Anyway... thought I would share...

That's one of the reasons I love living where I grew up! I take DS to the same parks my Mom took us as kids!!

Awwww, that's great. We did the same thing a couple of weeks ago with DD. We went to the Queens Zoo in Flushing Meadow Park and my parents took me there a lot when I was growing up and I still enjoy going there as an adult. Shaylie was asleep the entire time we were there. DH was never there before. I can't wait until Shaylie is old enough to enjoy it. They even have a farm there and I had a great time feeding the goats and sheep. I can't wait to do that with Shaylie.
