A very sad update.
Buca is not doing well. She was responding so well to the prednisone (for her Lymphoma - diagnosed 10/31) but it's not working anymore. 
We spoke to the vet specialist and he agrees that it's time to put her to sleep. I won't get into details about her condition......we don't want her to suffer, and she is beginning to. We'e taking her on Tuesday afternoon.
This was such a hard decision, and Buca has been the BEST dog we'll probably ever know. I really wish this wasn't happening to her.

I am so sorry to hear this news about Buca At least you were able to have some extra time together. You will be in my thoughts

Ooohhh... I am so sorry. I can't believe all this bad news at the holiday - I am so sorry for you.
At least you know you gave her a good life and you are doing the right thing for her now.

I am so sorry but you are doing the right thing for Buca.....
I have always thought that the hardest thing about being a dog owner is putting your feeling aside and always do what is best for your animal.
