Besides being about 6 degrees of seperation, I didn't really get it. I feel like I might have missed something because I have seen several people rave about it.

i really liike the writing, the plots, the characters... but i get anxiety at each new chapter trying to figure out how they are connected! good thing im reading it on my nook, i find a name that looks vaguely familiar so I can look back and remember.

Just started reading this, on the third chapter now. Glad to hear it's good!
I like stories like this that intertwine, a similar one I read recently was The Imperfectionists, though it didn't bounce through time like A Visit from the Goon Squad does.
