Abdominal Cramping Question
So I had some lower right ab cramping yesterday most likley due to ovulation. I looked up information online and it said the ab cramping from ovulation is usually on the right side.
Anyone know why? I thought it would alternate from the left to right??

oh i thought the same thing..
I get O cramping on both sides. Like the month I got my BFP it was on the left side and this month I felt it on the right?? interesting

Maybe the site I read was wrong.
It said the cramping is called Mittelschmerz!! Where the hell did THAT come from?
Sounds like a curse word...like you stub your toe and yell MITTELSCHMERZ!!!!

I had a VERY similar pain, but don't know why it would be always on the right as opposed from left to right, weird. Hopefully you were Oing since you and DH  so much!!!

I could be wrong but I think it's only called that when the pain is severe. I have had that a couple of months and it sounds like what I want to scream when it happens.  Seriously - it is really painful some months. I think the normal cramping - twinges of ovulation are not the same thing.....

Mine alternates. I don't think there is one blanket answer. But I am not sure. Maybe your OB can shed some light.
